onOffice enterprise offers you the possibility to handle your email traffic in an encrypted way. Please note that the statistic module is an additional module that is subject to a fee. Please contact your sales contact and specify how many mailboxes with encryption capability you need.
In the list view of the email module, a key icon is displayed next to “Identity”, i.e. for the currently selected mailbox, if it is an encrypt able mailbox. In the drop-down menu for selecting the mailbox, the mailboxes that can be encrypted are marked with the addition (key).
If an email was received in encrypted form, this is indicated by a note above the email text. You will be informed whether the email was received signed, encrypted or signed and encrypted.
If you enter an address in the “Write email” dialog in the To field, a key icon will indicate whether a valid public key exists for this mailbox. Only if the recipient has sent his public key once before, the message can be sent to him encrypted.
To the right of “Identity”, i.e. the currently selected mailbox, the key icon appears again, if the mailbox is capable of encryption.
If a recipient has been selected whose public key is available, but the mailbox through which the user wants to send the email is not capable of encrypting emails, a note text is displayed and you can decide whether you want to send the email unencrypted.
If you write an email directly from an address or a property via the action bar with the action “Write email”, the mailboxes that can be encrypted are also marked there.
If you are in the detailed view of an address, the pop-up window of the “email field” also shows the mailboxes that can be encrypted by icon.
Please note that the statistic module is an additional module that is subject to a fee. Please contact your sales contact person.
