Special features Idealista
Idealista only accepts direct download links via the API interface. This means that you cannot simply transfer the link to a YouTube video or another streaming platform, but have to store the video file on a platform (we know from experience that it works with Dropbox) and then convert the link to the file into a download link.
Dropbox
Step 1: Upload the file to Dropbox
- Sign in to your Dropbox account using your web browser.
- Drag and drop your video file into the desired folder, or click Upload > Files.
- Wait until the progress bar indicates that the file has been fully uploaded.
Step 2: Create a sharing link
- Hover your mouse pointer over the uploaded video and click the “Share” button.
- A pop-up window opens. Click the “Copy link” button in the lower-right corner.
(By default, free accounts create public links where “Anyone with the link can view the file.” That’s exactly what we need. No payment is required.)
Step 3: Customize URL
When you copy the link, it has a long, encoded structure that looks something like this:

To turn it into a direct download link, you’ll need to adjust the parameters at the end:
- Paste the link into an editor or wherever you want to edit it.
- Look for the part of the link that ends with &dl=0 (or ?dl=0).
- Delete the word “dl=0” and replace it with “raw=1.”
Visual example of the change:

✅ Modified link (perfect direct download): …/Test.mp4?rlkey=59eozc3…&st=p9y6l60u&raw=1
- Open the property in onOffice. Open the “Files” tab and create a new file using the plus in the top left-hand corner. Select Movie link as the file type and “Video Idealista” as the file title, for example. Insert the modified link under “Target (URL)” and save the new file.
- Next, click on the pencil next to the video file. Scroll to the “Publication” section at the bottom right. Check ONLY “Idealista.es (API)” and save the file again.
- Now you can easily transfer the video to Idealista.
