Create users

In the list view of users, create a new user via the (“Create data record data record”) icon.

Notice:

If you need additional user licenses, you can purchase them via the Shopping Center in the Help menu or contact your sales contact person.

Make sure that “User” is selected in the “Save as:” field. Then select the template that is to be assigned to the new user; the “Standard rights” option is preset here by default.

Now fill in all fields. As most of the fields are defined as mandatory fields, they can only be saved if they have been completed in full. Please check the user name carefully, as it can no longer be changed once it has been created.

Certain specifications must be observed when assigning the password: The user name must not be included in the password and the password must not consist purely of numbers. You can adjust these password policies in the Basic settings under “User passwords”.

It is neither possible nor necessary to make any further entries when creating a new account. As soon as you click on “Save”, the user is created and opened directly for further editing.

If there are no more free user licenses available, you will be notified accordingly. You can purchase additional licenses via the Shopping Center or via your sales contact. If a created user is no longer required, you can permanently deactivate it in order to release the corresponding license again.

Attention: A permanently deactivated user can not be reactivated.
