Transfer to Facebook

Please note that you are responsible for the lawful use of the Facebook interface. For further information, please always ask your lawyer, onOffice does not provide legal advice!

In a property in the Marketing tab, a property can be posted on Facebook in the “Social media” category.
The system shows who posted this property when and where or prepared an article (“Posted on date” is missing).

The transfer of a property to Facebook is always actively carried out by a user. Only this user can then change or delete the article.

You can set up access via the “Settings” button in the category. The button only appears if you have the user right “May post real estate on Facebook”.
You can find detailed instructions for setting up Facebook atSetting up Facebook.

No default settings for portals apply to Facebook and statistics on portals do not take this into account either.

Transfer property

Click on the “Prepare article” button to open a pop-up. You can insert an image and text here. A default text cannot be configured (default from facebook).

You can add a picture from the property. Macros are possible in the text, images cannot be inserted in the text area. You can save the current status and edit it later using the edit icon Edit icon.

Please check the image and the text with the preview – PLEASE NOTE, the preview does not correspond exactly to the appearance on Facebook, the image and the transferred text including the resolved macros are displayed.

The property is transferred via “Publish article” and should then be visible directly on Facebook.

The transfer is noted in the agent’s log.

View property

You can open the article directly on the Facebook page via the small Facebook icon in the list.

Change, delete property

You can change the text of the article at any time, the image cannot be changed.

You can use the edit icon Edit icon to reopen the article and change the text. You can only edit articles that you have posted yourself.

The change is transferred via “Update article now”.

Deleting is done in the same way, after the property has been transferred to Facebook, the “Delete item” button appears in the pop-up.
