Create / release units
There are several ways to create units. You can create multiple units from the master object using the popover on the
If you use the multi-languagemodule, the languages from the master object are taken into account when you create the object. The units are created with the main language and all secondary languages of the master object
The following properties can be transferred and are preset in the administration (SI column for properties):
- Marketing status
- type Property type Property type
- Marketing type
- type Floor Commercial
- divisible from
- price per sqm Additional
- costs per sqm
Another option for creating a new unit is in the master object on the tab “Basic data” via the unit box. The “New” button opens the dialog for creating a property. Fields are already filled with data from the master object. You can adjust them (properties type / properties category), floor, and so on, and then save them. You are then in the properties data record of the unit.
Depending on whether you want to create several units at once – tab “Units” – or whether you want to adjust the units in detail – tab “Basic data”, select the corresponding location for “creating new units”.
Transferring data from the master object to the units
You can also define via the administration which data from the master object is transferred to the unit – column “SV”. These are always passed on, the details of the create popover for units are only assigned additionally if the popover is used. Please note that some fields from the administration are not suitable for transfer to units and cannot be activated. For example, all price fields for the transfer from the master object are unchecked in administration. If you still want to transfer these fields to the units, you can release them in the administration.
Not only can you create new units, you can also assign existing properties as a unit to a master object.
In the master object, this is identical for the tab “Basic data” and “Units”. Use the “Assign” link/button to open the dialog for assigning properties
You can search for properties here and then select several from the results list and assign them directly.
In all cases, you can change the external properties number and adapt it to the “numbering scheme” of the master object. However, this is only possible as long as the property (unit) has not already been published in a portal. In this case, it is added without changing the external property number; the counter takes this case into account.
If the option “Owner of units is identical” is active in the owner box, the owners of the affected units are replaced by the owners specified in the master object
You can also assign an individual property directly to a master object. To do this, please select >> Assign master object in the actionselect the desired master object
With the checkbox “Transfer master object data” the defined data is transferred from the master object to the unit.
The external properties number is “inherited”, that is, a counter is appended to the properties number of the master object. You define the counter in the basic settings. When assigning, you are asked whether the external properties number should be changed, but for published properties, it is not changed in order not to lose the connection to the properties in the portal. You receive a corresponding message and can change it if necessary after removing it from the portal
A special case is the creation of many units using a table via CSV import. The properties properties are entered in a table and then the individual properties properties are created collectively using the CSV import. This properties is then assigned as a unit in the master object. The external properties number is reassigned so that it corresponds to the required model
Units can also be solved from the parent object. In the master object, you can click the “red X” next to the Edit icon in the list of units on theData tab. On the Units tab
This is also possible in the unit itself, but you can only solve the unit you are currently in there.
