Status and extended status
there are different statuses for addresses and real estate. This can be a rough subdivision into the main status active / archived / inactive (only for properties) or with the extended status a finer subdivision in several gradations.
It is recommended to use the “extended status” (Status2).
How do you recognize which status is being used?
If you can see more than the above-mentioned statuses in the selection for the status for addresses and properties in onOffice enterprise, you already have the extended status active.
If this is not the case, only an administrator can clarify the issue. Please go to Tools >> Settings >> Administration >> Input fields tab. For addresses, select the module: Contact Management >> Category: Administration. If the extended status is active, “Status2Adr” must be active in the “Field” column. For property, select the module Property >> Category Technical data. If the extended status is active, “Status2” must be active in the “Field” column.
The following explains how to activate the extended status and assign new key values.
The extended status can be activated for addresses and properties. Please note that it is better to have only one status active (status or extended status), only the extended status is explained here.
Contacts
For addresses, go to Tools >> Settings >> Administration >> Input fields / Module: Address management / Category: Administration , the “Status2Adr” field must be activated and the “Status” field deactivated (tick in column A). Then change the content of the “Status2Adr” field to Status.
Property
For real estate, go to Tools >> Settings >> Administration >> Input fields / Module: Property / category: Technical details , the “status2” field must be activated and the “status” field deactivated (tick in column A). Then change the content of the “status2” field to Status.
Once you have activated and renamed the extended status, you can define new statuses for it. These can be selected under Extras >> Settings >> Administration >> Singleselect / Modul: Address management or real estate / key field: createextended status .

Create new status
You can add new statuses for addresses and properties using the “Create new key” button.
Contacts
For addresses, you can assign several keys, each of which is then linked to the “Main status” Active or Archived; to do this, enter the desired main status in the “Status” column.
A name can be entered in the Content column.
If desired, you can influence the status of the search criteria via Address status.
Property
The situation is similar with the extended status for real estate. Define whether the new status should set an active, archived or inactive main status, or whether it can then be selected. This can be set in the “Status” column.
If desired, a color can be assigned for the newly created status, which is used for the display in the “Map widget for properties and addresses” on the dashboard.
Acquisition cockpit
The different statuses are required at various points in real estate. On the one hand in the property and on the other in the acquisition cockpit.
The acquisition cockpit is an important feature for real estate. To use this correctly and efficiently, you need the extended status (Status2) for real estate. The various status keys of the extended status are displayed in the Acquisition Cockpit on a kind of speedometer. You can define as many inactive status keys as necessary.
Please note that only keys that are correlated with the active or inactive main status of the properties can be selected in the Acquisition Cockpit. Archived statuses can only be assigned in the property itself.
Search criteria
Search criteria are often created in the address. But what if the interested party is no longer interested in an active search? Use the extended status (Status2Adr) for addresses, which deactivates all search criteria for the selected address by changing the status.
Set your own active status for this in the administration (see Defining new key values for the extended status). In this key value, set the value “Inactive” in the “Status of search criteria” column. As soon as this status is set, all search criteria are set to inactive.
Please note that it is also possible to deactivate or activate all search criteria in more than one address data record. To do this, use either a filter or a worklistin which you can change the status of one, several or all data records via the action bar.
