Send serial mail
With onOffice enterprise edition you can easily create mail merges to send one email to several of your prospects or customers. With a serial mail, a single e-mail is sent to each recipient. This means that every e-mail also contains the appropriate individual letter salutation.
A worklist is a fixed list of recipients that no longer changes dynamically. With a filter, a list of recipients is created at the moment of the call. If the data basis changes, the result can also change if the filter is called at a later point in time.
An example makes this clearer. The value “Yes” can be entered for the field “Newsletter” in the addresses. If you now create a filter that displays all addresses with the value “Yes”, you can create a worklist from it. Let’s assume that the filter produces 38 address records and that these are all included in a worklist. The value of an address is then changed to “No”. Calling the filter again results in 37 addresses, there are still 38 addresses in the worklist.
You can therefore decide whether the current status (filter) or a fixed record (worklist) of addresses should be written to.
Worklists and filters that another user should use must be saved as “public” or for the “office group”.
