Why Newsletter?
Use newsletters to regularly inform your contacts and prospects about current real estate offers and news. With the double opt-inprocedure, you ensure that you only send your newsletter to confirmed recipients.
The subscription option for the newsletter can be easily integrated into your emailtemplates using a macro and can also be configured for special cases such as contact data completion or withdrawal .
Every status change (registration/deregistration) is noted in the activities of the contact record. The current status of a customer can be viewed at any time in the master data, Administration category.
onOffice enterprise edition contains a ready-made contact filter “Newsletter dispatch” for all contact that have ordered the newsletter.
Subscribe to our newsletter
Customers can use the “_Newsletterlink” macro in an e-mail to both subscribe to and unsubscribe from newsletters. The option offered depends on the entry in the “Newsletter” field in the “Administration” category under “Basic data” of the contact record. The text shown cannot be customized.
The _Newsletterlink macro can be hidden behind a text. To do this, use the link symbol in the CK editor in your template or insert the link using CTRL+K (MacOS: cmd+K):

Contact data completion
When using the contact data completion to query the newsletter status, your customer can choose between “Subscribe to newsletter” and “Unsubscribe from newsletter”. The texts can be customized under Extras → Settings → Basic settings → General → Newsletter category.
Query about the withdrawal/ agreementLink
The _agreementLink macro can also be used to request consent to receive a newsletter when responding to inquiries. The texts can be customized under Extras → Settings → Basic settings → Withdrawal or the corresponding group settings → Withdrawal.
Send newsletter
A newsletter is created as a normal email via the email dialog and sent as a serial email . You define the recipients using the “Newsletter dispatch” filter.
You can also personalize the newsletter by inserting a personal salutation using the _Briefanrede macro. The _AdrBenutzerSignatur also gives the greeting formula a personal touch.
Further useful macros can be found in the macro list in the Help menu.
Newsletter status
If the recipient subscribes to the newsletter, the newsletter status is set to “Yes” in his Contact record. If they do not subscribe to the newsletter or unsubscribe, the newsletter status in the contact is set to “No” or “Unsubscribe”.
If the customer does not select any of the options offered when completing the contact or confirming the agreement link, the newsletter status will not be changed.
You can also set the newsletter status manually in the contact if the recipient has agreed to this.
With the double opt-in procedure you can ensure that only prospects receive your newsletter.
